About Dorothy

I have been living in Austin Texas for over a decade now and have tried every workout under the moontower. With an exercise background in track and cheerleading, I have always been competitively active and can't imagine ever slowing down. For me working out is not only a way to maintain a PHIT physique, but the best way I have learned to handle stress and tension in my life. Some of my favorite exercises include indoor cycling, weight training, trail running, and yoga. 

I am an ACE certified personal trainer and currently taking classes to receive a 200 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification through the National Yoga Alliance. My PHIT technique consists of high rep, weighted exercises. I will introduce anaerobic plyometric training, aerobic interval training, resistance training, and cardio in each session. I focus on full body function and will incorporate core into most sequences. If you are concerned about past injuries or just prefer to do low impact training I will strategize options to build muscle and boost cardio output without breaking your body down.

If you have trouble with nutrition I can help. I am not a dietitian but I do have a culinary arts degree from Le Cordon Bleu and experience in fine dining. I would be glad to discuss what foods can help you prepare for workouts and restore your body during rest. We can also come up with a daily/ weekly menu of your choice. Short on time? I can prep healthy meals for you and your family, alleviating the temptation to eat out or order in.
